Objective

After completing the course, the students are able to:
• utilize the basics of vector and bitmap graphics programs.
• use a layout program to complete and assemble their work.
• describe the image styles available and used in the field.
• design and produce images and other presentation materials for the profession.
• develop their own visual presentation style.
• understand the requirements of portfolios used for different purposes.
• produce a high-quality and goal-directed learning and/or professional portfolio, both as written and visual presentation.

Content

Basics of vector graphics. Basics of pixel graphics. Basics of layout software. Production of various images and texts for the portfolio. Different types of portfolios. Experiments on style and typography. Printing on different materials. Portfolio as a tool for identifying your own skills and development. Different types of portfolios. Self and peer evaluation.
