Objective
Upon completion of the course, the student will know how to:
- Analyse and justify multidisciplinary gerontological knowledge, making use of the significance of ageing on individuals, communities and society
- Analyse and assess the changing views and concepts of diverse and multi-faceted old age from the perspective of older people's quality of life, inclusion and agency, wellbeing, mental wellbeing and health
- Apply co-development, evidence and research-based information in the development of care of older people
