Objective

The student is familiar with various modeling software and methods used in the design field and is able to utilise the resulting data in XR applications. The student is able to use surface and solid modelling tools.

Content

- Most common CAD and BIM software
- Rendering and animation features of CAD and BIM software
- XR features of CAD and BIM software
- Importing of CAD and BIM models to polygon modeler and game engine
- Geometry transfer between software; native and generic file formats
- Surface and solid modeling

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student recognizes the modeling programs used in design and is able to utilize the data obtained from them in XR applications and is able to use surface and volume modeling tools. He has completed the duties approved.

The student is well acquainted with the modeling programs used in design and is able to make good use of the data obtained from them in XR applications, as well as is able to use surface and volume modeling tools. He has completed the tasks of the course well and has been able to apply the lessons learned in completing them.

The student is well acquainted with the modeling programs used in design and is able to make good use of the data obtained from them in XR applications and is able to use surface and volume modeling tools. He has completed the tasks of the course, applying what he has learned with particular merit.
