Objective

After completing the course, student can create valid game ideas, create a concept for them and understand what makes a good game or a game idea and knows methods how to improve their game design. Outcome from the course is completion of multiple very educational exercises. Main output is your game concept created by the Game Design Canvas tool.

Content

Game Design and Gamefication Part 1 - course teaches you the secrets to game design and can used both for game design and gamefication. Your educator is a highly experienced game designer who has worked on 100 published titles and received 30 industry awards. The course offers a very practical approach to learn game design and covers following areas: 1) game design theory 2) ideas and concepts and how to evaluate those 3) creating a game concept 4) monetisation and free to play (F2P) 5) creating storyline, game texts or storyboards 6) lots of exercises, examples, templates, videos and other material.
