Objective

The student
• is able to write a master level academic thesis
• understands the principles of academic writing
• is able to organise research work, use sources and draw conclusions.

Content

• Master's thesis writing process in a proper academic form
• Conducting academic research
• Drawing critical conclusions on the topic

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student
• can apply academic methods of research to prepare a thesis
• shows understanding of academic writing and use of sources
• is able to use critical thinking in drawing conclusions.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to the criteria mentioned above, the student
• has some ability to write academically high quality text
• can interpret information and synthesise new concepts
• can critically draw conclusions.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition to the criteria mentioned above, the student
• can apply the concepts of high quality scientific research
• fully understands academic writing and referencing
• can conduct scientific research which is valuable to the industry.
