Objective
On completion of the course the student can
- explain the methods and phases of earth construction as well as the materials used
- describe principles of planning and supervising earth construction
- produce a soil construction work plan
- describe and plan the blasting stages, the most common explosives and detonators
- explain basics of vibration in rock and soil due to blasting and its impact to surroundings

- describe and plan the extraction stages, the most common explosives and detonator
- explain usual rock bolting methods
- explain basics of vibration in rock and soil due to blasting and its impact to surroundings
