Content

-Function of environmental engineering related equipment
-Environmental monitoring
-Reaction chemistry in environmental engineering

Evaluation scale

0-5

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student recognises flow charts and selected environmental engineering equipment.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to categorise, collect, combine and generalise the concepts related to the matter and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the basic quantitative calculations.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to define or describe the subject matter related to the concepts and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the associated basic quantitative comparisons and calculations.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student recognises flow charts and selected environmental engineering equipment.

Qualifications

The student understands the essential concepts related to the structure of elements and compounds. He/she is also able to conduct basic calculations concerning the amount of substance, irreversible reactions, the contents of solutions and the pH of strong acids and bases.
