Objective

The student will be familiar with the principles of welding and manufacturing processes.The student will be familiar with the most common materials of power plants, as well as with the effects of heat treatment, alloying and coating on these properties.

The student masters the basics of welding and the most common manufacturing processes, and the meaning of these to the power plants maintenance.
The student knows the most important construction materials used in power plants and their properties.
