Objective
On completion of the course the student will be familiar with the devices and piping of HVAC systems, as well as the related equipment, and is able to take into account issues related to installation.
The student will be able to select suitable devices and piping with equipment for different purposes and to reserve space for them.
The student can satisfactorily perform the most typical installation tasks related to HVAC systems and calculate how much materials are needed.
Content
The technical properties of heating, water, sewage, air conditioning and cooling systems and piping, and the technical properties, uses and installation of piping equipment.
Extinguishing, gas, cold, vapour and pressure air systems.
Need for space, use of space and haulage.
Calculating the amount of materials needed.
