Objective

The student
- Has proficient knowledge in developing evidence based antenatal and postpartum midwifery care services.
- Has proficient knowledge in developing breastfeeding support as well as quality and effectiveness of local breastfeeding support services
- Has comprehensive knowledge in developing antenatal and postpartum services in terms of clients’ diversity and multiculturalism.
- Has comprehensive knowledge in developing new local midwifery care models for antenatal and postpartum care.

- Involvement of women and their families
- Development of quality and effectiveness of breastfeeding support
- Development of quality and effectiveness of childbirth and family coaching
- Multidisciplinary methods to support families expecting or having a newborn baby
- Multidisciplinary approaches, such as perinatal mental health issues
- Development of digital services and care pathways for antenatal and postpartum care
- Development of work oriented midwifery care models for antenatal and postpartum care
