Leadership and Development of the Work Community (5 ECTS)

Learning outcomes

Students will understand the impact of societal changes on the leading of social services. They will be able to participate in the strategy process both as a workers and supervisors. They will be prepared to manage staff competence and the work community. Students will be able to participate in development work and know how to inspire cooperation between the work community and customers. They will know how to work in ways that promote wellbeing.

Content

Changing work environments and multi-disciplinary networks. Strategic thinking and leadership. Management of staff competence and change. Participation of work community and service users in the development of the work-place. Management of wellbeing at work.

Teaching methods

Työpajatyöskentelyä, yksilö- ja ryhmätehtäviä, verkkoaineistojen läpikäyntiä.

Location and time

Opintojakso on tarkoitettu SXH21K1 ja SXH21K2 opiskelijoille. Opintojakson opettajina toimivat Markus Neuvonen ja Niina Pietilä.

Opintojaksolle hyväksytään max 30 päättövaiheen opiskelijaa (opintopisteiden mukaisesti, edellyttää että vähintään 1. ja 2. harjoittelu on suoritettu).

Opintojakso suoritetaan 18.8. - 22.10. välisenä aikana. Jakso sisältää 6 teemaa. Jokaisessa teemassa suoritetaan yksilö-, pari- tai ryhmätehtäviä.

Mahdollinen opintojaksoon liittyvä AHOT-hakemus tulee tehdä ennen opintojakson toteutukselle ilmoittautumista. Opintojakson AHOT-hakemukseen liittyvissä kysymyksissä ota yhteyttä AHOT-vastuuopettajaan Markus Neuvoseen .

Mikäli opiskelijalla on päätös yksilöllisestä tuesta, joka vaikuttaa opintojakson suorittamiseen, tulee opiskelijan olla yhteydessä opintojaksototeutuksen opettajiin heti ilmoittautumisajan päätyttyä.
