Objective

The students
-know how to set modality-specific learning targets for training, suited to their personal skill level
-are able to describe, self-evaluate and develop their skills and learning
-are able to interact with and guide patients in different interaction situations on the patients' terms
-are able to prepare patients for an imaging examination or intervention
-know how to go about imaging examinations safely, and apply their expertise in them
-are able to take patient safety into account and analyse their own actions
-are able to justify and describe any decision made
-are able to operate as members of a work community
-identify ethical conflicts and reflect on different perspectives on them

Teaching methods

Course includes guided clinical placement 4,5 credits (3 weeks), that is reserved according to instructions of the degree programme. Clinical placement goals must be approved by the supervising teacher on the first week of training. You must take account course aims and modality spesific aims in making of your own goals for training. You will write a diary during your training and it must be returned to supervising teacher.
Tasks relating to professional ethics must be done in moodle (0,5 credits)
