Objective
The students know how to
• Identify key legislation governing substance abuse and mental health services
• Identify substance abuse and mental health services for the older people
• Describe ways to face an older person living with a substance abuse or mental health problem in different ways
• Identify the special issues and needs of substance abuse and mental health work for older people and their relatives
• Identify assessment methods used in substance abuse and mental health work for older people
