Objective

The student is able to develop their pedagogical thinking utilizing acquired theoretical knowledge on the course of life, learning, teaching, and ethics. The student can develop their pedagogical thinking and practice further also after graduation. The student can act in networks and take part in professional, pedagogical dialogue and development.

Content

The music educator in society. Applying theoretical educational knowledge in pedagogical practice and thinking. Teacher ethics.

The student is able to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and the ethical information on music pedagogy to their pedagogical thinking. The student can act in networks and take part in professional, pedagogical dialogue and development.

Qualifications

The student is able to observe and describe pedagogical situations they encounter utilizing theoretical knowledge on learning and teaching. They are able to justify pedagogical choices and actions based on theories of teaching and learning as well as teacher ethics.
