Learning outcomes
The student is able to reflect on their music pedagogy learning and to construct their professional knowledge and skills. The student identifies the values, strengths and factors affecting their own musical path and learning. The student recognizes aspects of pedagogical interaction and is acquainted with various environments of instrument teaching. The student knows different aspects of encountering and teaching people of diverse ages and abilities and is able to proceed to practical teacher training.
Content
Reflection of one’s own pedagogical path, positive pedagogy and supporting the learner’s strengths, values, teaching methods, competences and the job sector of music pedagogy, interaction with learners of diverse ages and abilities, teamwork and collaboration skills, the basics of teaching one’s own instrument, digital portfolio.
