Objective

The student understands the laws of thermodynamics and she/he can do an energy analysis for open or closed system. The student understands the limitations of the laws of thermodynamics, as well as how thermodynamics effects on the operation principle of machines.

The student is familiar with the laws of thermodynamics. The student can solve simple calculations of thermodynamics.

The student understands the laws of thermodynamics and how to use them to solve thermodynamic-based problems.The student can solve applied calculations of thermodynamics.
