    Visual Communication Design – Motion Graphics

Objective

Students are able to produce moving images where the content and technical execution meet the standards for public release. They can design and implement digital effects for film. Students can use post-processing software to process and composite 3D animations, video footage and moving graphics and to create effects.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Student attends classes. Student masters the core content of the course and knows how to use the relevant tools. Student completes assignments to a satisfactory standard.

In addition to meeting the requirements at the previous level, student actively participates in class and completes assignments to a good standard and on schedule.

In addition to meeting the requirements at the previous levels, student is able to apply the learned skills and completes the assignments to an excellent standard.
