Objective

The student can perform building measurements in different coordinate and altitude systems and related geodetic calculations. Still, the student knows how to use trigonometric functions for level geometry assignments, knows the scale and uniformity. The student can the principles of thermal imaging.

Content

The student can take measurements in different coordinate and height systems and perform related geodetic calculations.
Further, the student can use trigonometric functions in plane geometry calculations, understands map scale and geometrical similarity. The students knows the principles of thermal imaging.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to explain coordinate and elevation systems. Knows geodetic calculations in building measurements. Is able to assist with distance and height measurement, and mapping and positioning structures. The student knows the basics of different aspects of property thermal photography. The theory test must be completed with a minimum of points and the exercises must be passed successfully.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to explain well the coordinate and elevation systems. Knows very well geodetic calculations in building measurements. Is able to measure distance and height differences and knows how to map and measure structures. The student knows most of the content of the different areas of the thermal description of a property. The tests should be performed within the mean of the minimum-maximum points and the exercises should be carried out in a satisfactory manner.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to explain the coordinate and elevation systems. Excellent knowledge of geodetic calculations in building measurements. He is proficient in measuring distance and height differences, and is well aware of mapping and positioning structures. The student is well versed in the various aspects of the thermal description of a property. Examinations should be performed with almost maximum points and exercises should be performed well.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student knows coordinate and elevation systems. Assist with geodetic calculations in building measurements. Is able to assist with distance and height measurement, and mapping and positioning structures. The student is familiar with the basics of different aspects of property thermal photography. Examinations must be done with a minimum of points and exercises must be passed.
