Objective
On completion of the course, the student
• can responsibly develop innovative practical and concrete solutions, practices, products or services with multidisciplinary partners to meet the diverse future needs and current challenges in the metropolitan area

• The concept of innovation, development work management and building a development team
• Collaborative project and innovation work and assessment: brainstorming, future-oriented conceptualisation and design, customer and user understanding, contracts and copyrights, communicating, publishing, productisation, marketing and implementation planning
• Multidisciplinary teamwork, stakeholder activities and networking
• Innovation development tools and methods

Mainly carried out on the premises of the company which issuing the project.

Possible to carry out on the other Metropolia UAS Innovation project courses, if the timing will be same.
Student workload
Student´s workload is 27 h / ects, which includes contact teaching and independent work of the student.
Studies and the working load of the rehearsals are sized as per the all-time studies.
Obtaining a mark of the course requires that all course assignments nad project are done satisfactorily.
