Optionality description

Information Technology students:
* You can choose 15 credits of elective studies.

* You also need to complete compulsory language studies (10 cr) according to your study plan, either:

a) Finnish 1 and 2: compulsory courses for students whose language of schooling education is not Finnish or Swedish (Finnish courses are arranged during the 1st year of studies)

b) Engineering Swedish and Engineering Finnish: compulsory for students whose language of schooling education is Finnish. Please check more information from the IT - study guidance workspace in OMA (Documents / Courses).

* Before enrollment, you must have your elective studies approved by the head of the degree
* Please note that the elective studies cannot overlap in content with the compulsory studies of your degree.

* Check the previous knowledge requirements.
* Check the language of instruction. Some of the courses are offered in Finnish.

ENROL FOR THE COURSES
* Enrolment time for the courses starts on 2 Dec at 08:00.
* Enroll for elective study courses during December.
* The elective courses can be canceled if not enough students enroll. Students will be informed about the cancellation.
* Enroll in OMA: Student desktop / My studies / ePSP / Enrolments
* You need to search courses as elective studies are not automatically in your PSP.
