Objective
The student develops the following skills and knowledge:
• a student understands the importance of nutrition for health and well-being as well as the importance of nutrition in the prevention of many diseases.
• a student recognizes and reflect on his/her own eating habits and relationship with food.
• a student gets the basics for healthy eating habits and food choices and learns to make responsible choices also in terms of the environment.
• a student understands the importance of psychological factors such as flexibility, self-compassion, and positive thinking in the development of a natural relationship with food.
• a student learns to solve his own challenges by reflecting and to set suitable goals
• a student adopts eating skills suitable for him/her.
• a student gets practical tools and an understanding of his/her own relationship with food and know how to make health-promoting and sustainable choices.
Content
In the online course, you progress at your own pace, getting to know the material and doing independent reflection assignments and participating in joint discussions. The course covers the importance of nutrition in terms of your own well-being and health as well as the environment. The latest nutritional recommendations serve as a base material. During the course, you get to know the factors that affect your relationship with food and learn to recognize and be aware of possible challenges in your own eating habits. Through self-examination and reflection, the student gets to know how to promote his/her own nutritional health - with the most important attitudes being positivity and flexibility and enjoying food.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Students can:
