Objective
Having served at least one term on the board of a student umbrella organisation, the student:
? is able to act in a goal-oriented manner in accordance with the action plan
? understands the processes of societal decision-making, perceive the places of timely influence and know how to create and promote influencing goals
? understands the organisational model of the student umbrella organisation, knows the Associations’ Act and how it affects the activities of the umbrella organisation
? knows how to hold meetings and understands the framework for statutory meetings set out in the Associations Act
? has networked with actors in the field of student organisations and with other stakeholders, including those influencing national policy-making
? sets objectives for their activities and manages their own time management
? is able to assess the strengths and areas for development of their activities and competences
? can inspire, encourage and support their team
? can measure and report on activities
Content
? Students serve on the board of a national student umbrella organisation for at least one term. Examples of umbrella organisations are SAMOK, OLL, the Engineering Students' Union and the Trades Students' Union.
