Objective

After serving at least one term on the board of Metropolia’s Student Association, a student:
- knows the Associations Act and how it affects the activities of their student association
- knows how to hold meetings and understands the framework for statutory student association meetings set by the Associations Act.
- knows how to market and advertise the activities of their student association
- understands the basics of accounting and reporting on the association's activities
- has participated in the production and marketing of student events
- has contributed to the cooperation between the student association and Metropolia and Student Union METKA
- can act on the board of a PRH-registered association and understands the organisational model of the association

Qualifications

The student has participated in Opystartti organised by METKA or completed a substitute task.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student has achieved the objectives of the course on a satisfactory level.
