Qualifications
Here incoming exchange students can find courses offered by Digital Design and Visual Communication Design. Courses are offered only for the degree programmes’ own exchange students. The credits are ECTS credits (1 ECTS credit equals 27 hours of work, including contact hours, independent work, exams etc.). The typical workload for one semester is 30 ECTS credits.
Students should choose all Core courses (Concept Art can be discussed separately if the prerequisites are not met). In addition to these courses, students can choose from the “Additional Courses for all exchange students” list.
Core courses:
• Concept Art, 5 ECTS (Prerequisites: Knowledge of pixel and vector graphics. Intermediate to high knowledge in Photoshop / Illustrator, Illustrative expertise)
• Drawing, 5 ECTS
• Service Design 5 ECTS
• Communities and Communication Design Product 10 ECTS
Additional courses for all exchange students:
• Media and Culture in Finland 5 ECTS
• Finnish for exchange students 5 ECTS
