Objective
The student will be able to explain the properties and principles of electrical equipments (such as heating, lighting, branch circuits and circuit brakers). The student is familiar with the theory of the High Voltage Engineering in buildings.
The student will be able to plan the electrical wiring and select the grid connection type (low/ medium voltage) for the building.
Content
Indoor lighting systems.
Electrical heating systems.
Capacity of the Branch Circuits.
The type of the grid connection (low/medium voltage).
Lightning protection system.
Devices for overcurrent protection.
Power factor correction systems.
High Voltage Engineering.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student will be able to plan the electrical wiring, is able to select the grid connection type and to memorize the knowledge listed in the Objectives.

In addition to the above mentioned requirements, the student is able to apply the learned knowledge and skills in new similar tasks.

In addition to the above mentioned requirements, the student is able to invent improvements, compare alternatives and give reasons for his or her choices.
