Objective
On completion of the course, the student will know how to determine the position, velocity and acceleration of a rigid body in plane motion.
The student will understand the relation between forces and accelerations, and know how to use equations of motion for solving forces and accelerations.
The student will be able to apply dynamics to practical problems of his /her field of study.
Content
1. Differential and integral calculus
2. Kinematics of rigid bodies in two dimensions: translation, rotation and general plane motion
3. Kinetics of rigid bodies in two dimensions
4. Applications of dynamics
