Objective
In these studies the student acts a member of the project group and takes part in making the research plan to identify microbes. During the practical work he/she uses the most important biochemical, microbiological and molecular biological research techniques. The student learns how to report in a scientific way.
Content
The most important research methods in microbiology and biochemistry that are related to the identification of microbes in practice (Different staining and culturing techniques; Determination of antibiotic resistance, enzyme reactions and protein concentration; Electrophoresis; PCR).
