Objective
Student is able to work independently as well as a member of a group in his/her own professional field.
Student is able to work efficiently and accurately, follow the hours of employment and act accordingly.
Student is able to use and evaluate the skills he/she has learned in practice.
Student is able to follow the health and safety procedures of the work place and understand the occupational safety and environmental factors are part of the industrial/companies activity.
Student is able to describe practices and procedures of the work place, his/her duties there, working environment and different units at working place.
Student is able to recognize the work and career prospects in his/her own field of study and know basics of the labour legislation.
Content
Work placement is carried out according to the degree program’s placement guidelines. Work placement should be diverse and show an upward trend, so that it would promote professional competence progressing from the basic skills to the more demanding skills in an engineering level.
1. Placement and labour legislation lectures
2. Search and apply for the job/placement and do the work placement plan
3. Working in student’s own professional field at least the length of placement period
4. Learning assignment/-s
