Objective

Musculoskeletal anatomy:
Students are able to explain the location and properties of musculoskeletal and epithelial tissues. They are able to describe the general structure and function of the musculoskeletal system. Students are able to name the details of the lower limb skeleton. They can explain the structure and function of lower limb joints and identify the muscles in the area. Students describe the function of muscles of lower limbs and are able to analyse the significance of muscle attachment sites in the most important joint dislocations associated with amputations. Students are able to explain the structure and function of the skeleton, joints and key muscles of body and neck. Students use foreign professional terminology on the structures and concepts of the musculoskeletal system.

Physiology:
The student recognizes the organs of the most important organ systems and is able to explain the basic features of their function. The student uses structured professional terminology.
