Objective

Learning outcomes:
The students influence the environmental accessibility with various solutions. The students apply multidisciplinary information to enable performance and participation. The students seek different physical, technical and technological solutions that can increase the client´s occupational performance. The students select assistive devices and ready-made upper limb orthoses that enable the client to participate in meaningful activities. The students know the basics of making upper limb orthosis and the benefits of various materials. The students become familiar with alternative ways of communicating and use them to support communication.

- Multidisciplinary perspective on environmental accessibility
- Technology in rehabilitation
- Digital services and solutions
- Aids and upper limb orthosis
- Orthosis materials
- Alternative communication e.g. AAC, sign supported speech, pictures, plain language

-know how client orientation forms a foundation for action.
- show their command of the ethical principles of the professional field
- follow the security guidelines
- can function as members of work team
- understand the significance of strengths and development needs in the professional growth
