Objective
Students are able to explain the altered requirements caused by changes in the work environment when supporting and promoting the work capacity and functional ability of working age clients. They assess the significance of work capacity and functions maintaining it in the changes of the working life. Students work in the occupational health network and follow the rules and regulations guiding occupational health. They analyse and assess factors affecting work ability and workload based on occupational physiotherapy and ergonomics. Students choose and justify the methods and measurements required in the assessment of workload in relation to the individual and the work requirements. They are able to choose suitable means for implementing proper workload considering the special characteristics of staff, work environment and work communities. Students act as experts of physiotherapy in multiprofessional cooperation
