Objective
The student
- understands the operating principles and physics of ultrasound equipment
- is able to take part in common ultrasound examinations and interventions in a customer-oriented way
- has theoretical preparedness for performing mammography examinations applying the principles of radiation safety and patient centredness
- knows the anatomy and functioning of the chest and neck region
- gets practice in locating anatomical structures in the neck and abdomen region

Operating principles and physics of ultrasound and mammography equipment

Mammography practice at the premises of the University of Applied Sciences (UAS) 1 ETCS
Ultrasound practice at UAS premises 2 ECTS, usage of ultrasound equipment and anatomical structures
