Objective

Students will become familiar with the basic concepts, value premises and objectives of special education. They will be aware of the special challenges of development and learning, and the support needs in different phases of life. Students will be capable of supporting the life management, functional capacity and daily life of their clients and their families.

Guiding principles of special education and its organisation. Special challenges in development and learning dur-ing different phases of life. Support for learning and school attendance. Special early childhood education, special education, student welfare, vocational special education, and preparatory and rehabilitative education. KESÄTOTEUTUS
Opintojakson voi halutessaan suorittaa kesän aikana. Opintojakson moodle-työtila avataan kesäkuun alussa ja tehtävät tulee suorittaa elokuu loppuun mennessä. Opintojakson suorituspäiväksi merkitään päivä, jolloin viimeinen tehtävä on palautettu.
SYKSYN TOTEUTUS
Opintojakson moodle-työtila avataan syyskuun alussa ja opintojakson tehtävät tulee suorittaa marraskuun loppuun mennessä.
