    Learning outcomes of the course
    Students are able to plan and implement an individual therapy process. They observe the use of occupation. Students are able to assess factors contributing to a client’s occupational performance and participation in activities of daily living. Students are able to choose an appropriate form of occupation to promote the client’s occupational performance and participation. Students are able to relate occupation and their own activities to meet the individual’s requirements. Students are able to assess change in the client’s occupational behaviour, justify it and deal with it reciprocally with the client. Students are able to document the observations that they have made and communicate these to the client, his or her family and the team. Students are able to draw up a further recommendation based on the assessment. Students are able to use supervision in support of the occupational therapy process. They are capable of producing information to promote the client’s occupational performance and participation together with the client, his or her family and friends, and other experts. Students recognise their own expertise and its limits. Students possess the oral and written skills in the English language required for work assignments within their own field at skills level B2, as laid down in legislation governing the universities of applied sciences.

    English:
    To get a passing grade (3 credits) for English, students are required to
    *attend and actively participate in contact sessions
    *do the required homework assignments for each class
    *submit a final written assignment in due time
