Objective

Students know how to utilise assessment skills and treatment methods they have learned in client work more extensively, develop these competences further and integrate theoretical knowledge with practice. They have become familiar with working in a client-oriented way in Positia, and they participate in multiprofessional teamwork.

Students can promote and support their clients as well as their own work and functional capacity by utilising skills and knowledge based of ergonomics. They can display competence in ergonomics and work safety in their own work, selection of equipment and their use as well as organisation of their work environment. Students know how to utilise the diverse occupational health and labour protection network in their work as podiatrists as well as consider the requirements for occupational health legislation.

- Assessment of client’s lower limbs and posture as well as podiatric examination
- Implementing client’s podiatric treatment and its assessment
