Objective
The student is able to design concepts for digital media products or services. The student is familiar with the methods of user-centered design and is able to choose appropriate methods for a project. The student is able to evaluate the usability of user interfaces. The student knows how to analyse the properties of information systems, software and network applications in connection with their use. The student is able to apply their knowledge to the design and development of media products and services. The student is familiar with the technological field of digital publishing. The student is able to analyse the state and future trends of the media.

Opintojakson opetustilanteita voidaan tallentaa ryhmän jäsenten myöhemmin katsottavaksi. Tallennettavista opetustilanteista sovitaan tarkemmin ryhmän jäsenten kanssa opintojakson alkaessa. Tallenteet ovat tallenteet ovat nähtävissä opintojakson ajan opintojakson käyttämällä oppimisalustalla. Jos ryhmän kanssa ei sovita muuta, opetustilanteiden tallenteet poistetaan viimeistään 6 kk opintojakson päätyttyä.

The student demonstrates knowledge of principles and methods of user-centered service design and the ability to use them in their own design work. The student is able to recognise factors affecting usability and user experience. The student is able to seek information on subjects linked with the course content areas and present their knowledge orally and in writing.

The student demonstrates good knowledge of principles and methods of user-centered service design and the ability to use them in their own design work in appropriate manner. The student is able to analyse and evaluate the usability and user experience of digital services and apply these skills and knowledge in their own work. The student is able to retrieve information on subjects linked with the course content areas and present, reflect and apply their knowledge orally and in writing.

The student demonstrates excellent knowledge of principles and methods of user-centered service design and the ability to use them in their own design work innovatively.
