Objective
After the course the student is familiar with the main theories and basics of leadership and human resource management. The student understands the specific features of leadership and managerial work in expert organizations and creative industries. The student is familiar with the forms of intra organizational communication and understands the significance of communication as part of managerial duties and responsibilities. The student recognizes the main means of work load management and is able to utilize them as part of human resource management. The student understands the importance of communication skills in managerial work and is able to utilize the skills in practice in various situations of professional speech communication.

The student is aware of the main management theories and models. The student understands the importance of communication skills in management work. The student knows, which are the main communication skills needed in the producer’s work and is motivated to use those appropriately in communication situations.

The student knows the main management theories and models and is able to analyze them in relation to real-life managerial activities. The student understands the importance of communication in leadership and is able to combine that to the practical management work. The student knows the main oral communication skills needed in producer’s work and is able to apply them in professional communication situations.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student is able to apply different leadership theories and models to practice. The student has the practical management skills, good communicational skills and the ability to network. The student is able to work as an expert and as a superior in a professional organization
