Objective
The students are familiar with key theories of audiovisual storytelling and expression. They can do a small analysis of an audiovisual work.They are familiar with actors and stakeholders in domestic media field. The students know the intellectual property rights and key contracts with different partners in productions. They are familiar with different release platforms in media. The students master the professional audiovisual production process as a whole. They know how to break down the script from the point of view of production requirements and artistic goals and use this knowledge to plan the needed resources in different productions. They can devise different production plans and phase them. The students are familiar with different professional roles and job descriptions in media field. They are familiar with the post-production process and the professional terminology related to audiovisual productions. The students can execute both a spoken and a written presentation of the production to different partners. They know the expense structure, financing plan, and expense monitoring principles of a production. They are familiar with the key domestic public financing channels. They know different means and forums for alternate financing. They know different distribution channels for productions. They understand the role of marketing and distribution of a finished product as a part of the role of a producer. The students can communicate with the production team and partners and know different means to do that. They know different modes of leading a production team. The students can give and receive feedback during the development and production phase of a production. They are able to plan their personal career paths, evaluate the development of their professional identity and demonstrate their skills.
