Objective

The students can act in the work process of stage technology. They will know the main principles of stage work and different professional groups. They know the production process of a professional theater company. The students know the safety risks involved in the stage technical systems and can take them into account when operating on stage. They can present the stage and their own work. They can apply the acquired information and skills into practice.

Students know the specialist terminology and use it correctly. Students know the relevant safety practices. Students are able to find further information on lighting engineering. Students can follow the given instructions in live projects.

Students are well versed in the concepts and fundamental knowledge of lighting engineering. Students are safety-oriented and they are able to act independently in lighting projects. Students master the principles of technical planning and know how to apply them in practice.

The participant of the course will learn the stage technological systems, their properties, their qualities, operational principles, and special requirements. They know how to safely execute rigging and lifting work and the work methods involved. The participant knows the work process of the stage and knows the safety risks regarding stage technological systems.
