Objective
After completing this course, students are able to write their final project report. They can identify development needs in their own field, outline a research topic and choose an appropriate research method to address the research question. They can find source material and review it critically. Students can write an academic paper pertaining to their professional field and justify their arguments. They know the principles of expository, research and industry-specific writing. Students are familiar with the research information sources and specialist publications within their field and they can use them to form the information basis for their paper. Students can present the main contents of their paper concisely with examples and/or visuals. They can assess their own skills, justify their solutions, give constructive feedback on other students’ work and reflect on their own learning process. Students have the ability report on and present their final project.

They are able to find and critically review relevant source material and use the material comprehensively to form the information basis for their paper. Students can write an academic paper, justify their arguments and present their topic in a clear and informative manner. Students are able to produce new and relevent information for the field of live performance engineering.
