Objective

After the course, the students can:
• deepen their own knowledge with an end user orientation to design collections for the store brands.
• can meet the commissioner’s needs when designing a collection with an end user orientation.

Content

Knowing the target group and utilizing that knowledge when designing garments. The experiential, communicational, functional nature of garments with easy maintenance. Collection planning with an end result that is easy to produce industrially; including the brand, colors, shape, and samples (kuosi ja mallit). The brand stores and their meaning in forming images. Following one’s own development with guidance and portfolio work.
