The course has no prerequisites. If the student is applying to study in the Motion Graphics major of the Design degree program, the student must be eligible to apply as a University of Applied Sciences student.

The student understands the basics of cinematic storytelling. The student can produce a small video production at a satisfactory level.

The student understands the basics of cinematic storytelling. They can apply their knowledge and produce a high-quality video that effectively conveys the intended message while following the principles of cinematic storytelling.

The student understands the basics of cinematic storytelling. They can apply their knowledge and create a visually high-quality video production that insightfully conveys the desired message. The student is in control of the techniques in use.
