Objective

Upon completing this course, the student will be able to identify the different operational sectors of cultural management, describe their key characteristics, and apply their knowledge in practice. They will understand the concept of the creative industries and be able to explain its meaning. The student will also comprehend the responsibilities and obligations related to event ownership and be able to analyze the impact of events from various perspectives. They will recognize and understand the fundamentals of financial objectives and budgeting in events. Additionally, the student will be able to summarize their own background, highlighting the skills and qualities necessary for working as a cultural producer.

The student understands the responsibilities and obligations related to event ownership and can explain the concept of impact from different perspectives. They are able to list the key principles of financial objectives and budgeting for events. Additionally, the student can identify and describe their own strengths and competencies relevant to the role of a cultural manager.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student identifies and analyzes the key characteristics of different operational sectors in cultural management and their significance. They understand the unique aspects of the creative industries. The student comprehends how the responsibilities and obligations related to event ownership impact the production process. They analyze the impact of events from social, economic, and ecological perspectives. The student understands the fundamental principles of financial objectives and budgeting in events. Additionally, they are able to identify and evaluate areas for their own professional development from the perspective of cultural management.
