Objective

Water is essential for human life, but many people need to know where drinking water comes from and how to treat natural water for drinking purposes. Understanding the process of supplying and treating water is becoming increasingly important to achieve SDGs 6, which involves ensuring access to water and sanitation for all. This course aims to provide students with a scientific and engineering understanding of the water supply process.
The goals of this course are to:
- Obtain basic knowledge about the hydrological process and water quality formation in terrestrial
- Analyze water quality indexes and assess these values
- Describe and explain the major method of water treatment process for drinking water.

Content

- Learning water cycle and hydrological process in terrestrial
- Learning water quality formed process
- Field Survey for water quality analysis
- Experiment with analyzing water quality and assessing water qualities
- Water quality standard for drinking water and water treatment process
- Experiment with water treatment and analyzing water quality

Qualifications

The learners must have a basic level of chemistry and biology equivalent to that of a high school graduate.
