AV Exercises and Practical TestLaajuus (10 cr)

Objective

Students can apply various basic skills of audiovisual production in projects. Working as a team, they can plan and implement various training productions using basic audiovisual production tools. The students will be able to use the basic tools of image and sound post-production workflow in practice. They will be able to evaluate and analyse their own and others' productions and give and receive constructive feedback. They are able to pay attention to occupational safety in their work. Students will be able to identify and present their own skills through a portfolio.

Content

- design and implementation of short-form audiovisual projects
- audiovisual production workflow
- working in a team with different professional roles and the significance of different professions in audiovisual projects
- preparing a portfolio of personal skills and projects
- portfolio presentation and evaluation

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student participates satisfactorily in class. The student can use basic audiovisual production tools under supervision. The student can satisfactorily plan and implement an audiovisual project. The student knows the rules of safety at work and can satisfactorily identify and present their own competences through a portfolio.

The student participates well in class. The student can independently use basic audiovisual production tools. The student is able to plan and implement an audiovisual project. The student knows the rules of safety at work and is able to identify and present their own competences through a portfolio.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student will have an excellent attendance record. The student can independently apply basic audiovisual production tools. The student will be able to plan and implement an audiovisual project in a versatile way. The student knows the rules of safety at work and is able to identify and present their own competences in a portfolio.
