Objective

After completing the course, the students are able to:
• to understand from which parts a professional product image is created
• to create a professional portfolio by using the appropriate digital techniques and programs
• to gather the basics of intellectual property rights (IPR) needed for working in the fashion
and design industry
• to create a professional CV and cover letter

Content

During the course, the students will learn the basics of professional portfolio making and some of the most widely used software to visualize their know-how. The examples of software will include graphic design programs (a raster graphics editor, a vector graphics editor and design program, a desktop publishing design and typesetting tool) and some programs for video and audio editing, animation, and visual effects. Additionally, the students will gain knowledge of product photography, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in the Fashion & Design field. The students will also learn copywriting for CVs, cover letters and customer offers.
