Objective
The student can explain the structure and operating principle of a ventilation system, determine air flows based on indoor climate target values and dimension the ventilation ductwork. The student can make attenuation calculations and to place and select the terminal devices for supply and exhaust air in the room. The student knows how to choose an air handling unit and draw a control and operation diagram of an air handling unit.
Content
Indoor climate and dimensioning of air flows. Ventilation systems. Dimensioning of ventilation ductwork. Selection and placement of intake and exhaust air devices. Attenuation of ventilation system. Dimensioning and selection of the air handling unit. Control and operation diagram of an air handling unit.
