Objective

The student will be familiar with renewable and alternative energy sources and technologies. The student knows the basics of distributed energy technology.

Content

-Non-renewable and renewable energy and alternative energy sources
-Distributed energy production
-The importance of renewable and alternative energy sources for energy production
-Energy efficiency, energy storages and transfer of energy

Qualifications

The student can understand simple natural scientific phenomena and the student has the basic mathematical and science skills needed to calculate physical phenomena. The student is familiar with laws of thermodynamics and knows the limitations of the laws. The student masters basics of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.

The student knows the basics of distributed energy.

The student knows the basics of distributed energy.
The student masters the mathematical and physical background of the renewable and alternative energy production.

The student knows the basics of distributed energy.
The student masters the mathematical and physical background of the renewable and alternative energy production.
The student understands the importance of the renewable and altenative energy production methods and is able to manage them as part of the energy system.
