Osaamistavoitteet
The course of Web Analytics with Google Tools aims to provide students an overview or role of web analytics in web and ecommerce development from a high level. During the course,students (1) explore methods to utilize Google tools to collect key web metrics to gain understanding web traffic, we also (2) look into Google Data Studio as a tool for reporting web analytics findings. The course consists of theoretical sessions, combined with home assignment and a final project work where students gain access to a sandbox ecommerce project with real data, utilizing what they have learned to produce a web analytics report to answer certain business questions. By the end of this course, students gain a better understanding of the web analytics field of study, able to pursue a career as a web analyst or support further research in the same topic.
