Objective
Students know the equipment and their properties in live performance video systems. They know the properties, potential for use, operational principles and special requirements of the systems. Students are able to accurately interpret video system documentation. Students understand the planning principles or the video system and can build a functioning system. They can operate commonly used video mixers and media servers. The students understand performance technology as a part of live performance production and understand the job requirements in the field. Students are aware of the inherent safety risks of the systems and can take them into account while setting up and using the systems. Students are able to apply their skills into practice.
